Our History

The success story of the United Automation Hub

2015

20 year old Christian Sojka founded "Sojka Solutions" as a one-man company in Germany, Schmölln, Thuringia, with an initial investment of €3,500. Starting in project-based services for the automotive industry, the company was driven by his deep interest in robotics and automation—making entrepreneurship the natural next step when no existing local company aligned with his vision.

2016

Within just a few months, the company grew to more than 10 employees, driven by its commitment to customer-centric service and a willingness to make the impossible possible. Initially focused on project management, assembly, and installation for special-purpose machinery, the business expanded beyond automotive into emerging industries with strong demand—most notably the battery industry.

2017

First U.S. projects with TESLA USA in Reno during the “Production Hell” phase, following Tesla’s acquisition of Grohmann Engineering that have been customer to us.

2018

We significantly expanded our customer base and grew our team by successfully delivering multiple battery projects across Europe—including Accumotive in Kamenz, BMW in Dingolfing, and the Porsche Taycan project in Sachsenheim—where we contributed deep expertise in both round and prismatic battery cell technologies.

2019

Added new customers in the United States and delivered our first projects in Mexico, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Austria—further advancing our international expansion.

2020

Further strengthened our strategic positioning as a full-service provider by delivering Assembly, Engineering, Software, and Commissioning as fully integrated services from a single source. This approach minimizes interfaces for our customers, enables deeper vertical integration, unlocks new revenue opportunities, and enhances competitiveness for both our clients and our organization.

2020

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we established an additional location in Germany—Falkenstein in the Vogtland region—to secure access to engineering and software development talent, further strengthening and expanding our solution portfolio.

2021

Market leader and full-service partner in the field of automation services (more than 25 leading machinery companys as customer)

2022

For the first time, the company surpassed €10 million in revenue, while continuing its consistently positive financial performance—despite significant growth investments fully financed from its own resources.

2022

Strategic development of the UAH Business Model as Full Service Provider with local support capacities together with some of the best CEO´s of the Industry to solve structural issues and Inefficiencies based on customer needs

2023

Opened the first US Location in Cincinnati to cover the greater Lakes Are and Midwest and bring down travel costs as well as response times

2024

Opened the second US Location in Houston to cover Texas and the Southwest

2024

Official rebranding of SOJKA Solutions to

UNITED AUTOMATION HUB to reflect our international expansion and evolved business model.

2025

Significant investments in our digital and AI capabilities by End of 2024, laying the foundation for the digital backbone of our business model. This includes ORBIT as the central administrative platform for our members, as well as UAH Connect—a B2B vendor marketplace often described by customers as the “Amazon of Automation.” In parallel, we initiated the strategic planning of additional SaaS solutions designed to enable new revenue streams for UAH members and drive deeper customer engagement.

2025

Successfully onboarded more than 25 component manufacturers to UAH Connect, including major global players such as Festo and KUKA, as well as numerous hidden champions like GETT, IFSYS, JennyScience, Taktomat, and SimAutomation. In parallel, we acquired 10 new customers in the mechanical engineering sector who migrated to our business model with U.S.-based service level agreements—enabling best-in-class local service delivery at a fraction of the cost of operating their own locations.

2025

Expanded our U.S. business model for component & system manufacturers by introducing Shared Sales and onboarding a growing number of new clients. Through this model, we generated and forwarded more than $4 million in qualified opportunities to our member companies—opportunities they would not have accessed without us. In addition, we laid the foundation for offering localized Shared Manufacturing in the United States for component and system suppliers, enabling them to avoid tariffs and logistics costs and, in some cases, manufacture more cost-effectively in the U.S. than at their home locations.

UAH-Historie

Stillstand reduzieren, Effizienz steigern

A Central Request Platform for Instant Access
