Commissioning Engineer

As a Commissioning Engineer you will be responsible for the successful installation, startup, testing, and optimization of machinery and automation systems at customer facilities throughout the United States.

You will work directly with customers and internal engineering teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation
• Experience commissioning industrial machinery and automation systems
• Knowledge of PLC systems, preferably Siemens S7 and TIA Portal
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, pneumatics, and industrial controls
• Independent and solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel extensively within the United States
• Valid driver's license
• Authorization to work in the United States

Key Responsibilities

• Commission machinery, equipment, and automation systems at customer facilities
• Perform installation, configuration, testing, validation, and startup activities
• Conduct FAT and SAT activities
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues
• Support production launches and process optimization activities
• Perform parameter adjustments and minor PLC modifications during commissioning
• Train operators, maintenance personnel, and technical teams
• Create commissioning reports, documentation, and acceptance records
• Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, and customers
• Travel extensively throughout the United States
